Location: Beaverton, OR Schedule: 40 Hours, 4 days onsite and 1 day at home (if onsite) Duration: ~ 8 Months Pay: Up to $41.30/hour DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Lead Merchant with a strong background in Women's merchandisingto join our well known retail brand on a 8 month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will follow a hybrid work schedule, being onsite 4 days a week with 1 day HQ in Beaverton, Oregon.
Lead Merchant Responsibilities:
Enable the strategy, building/ execution, and management of a global 3-year line plan and product journey for various categories.
Develop key relationships among cross-functional teams.
Conduct product research and analysis to put forth the best merchandise.
Decipher key retail performance indicators and profit based metrics.
Communicate updates to partners across the organization as well as presentations.
See trends beyond the current state and identify new market opportunities to deliver the right products.
Provide direction and mentorship to teammates.
Solve problems as they arise and bring a proactive approach.
Lead Merchant Qualifications:
5+ years' of relevant merchant experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Merchandising experience in footwear, apparel, or equipment.
Experience with Microsoft Office and especially Excel.
