Advertising Operations Specialist

Pay Rate: Up to $27/hr depending on experience
Duration: ~ 12 Months and 40 hours per week
Location: 100% Remote (Austin based candidates as occasional meeting could be required)

This Advertising Operations Specialist will be providing operational execution support to help project manage advertisement requests for the company's managed and unmanaged advertisers. The Advertising Operations Specialist will be responsible for recruiting research participants for user experience studies and guiding them through the process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising effectiveness and project management, along with a natural curiosity to understand how things work. They should be analytical, a great communicator, and able to partner with other internal teams.

Advertising Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Own immersion operational execution in coordination with internal teams supporting workflows such as, email outreach, scheduling, and performance tracking across multiple projects.  
  • Monitor and troubleshoot progress and performance of immersions to ensure overall program quality and consistency
  • Triage incoming requests, utilizing technology, superior customer service and judgment -
  • Responding to inquiries and requests within a timely manner and working 1:1 in real time.
  • Gather learnings and insights for: 1) internal teams to help brand further develop and evolve their products, and 2) advertising partners to help them achieve their marketing objectives.
  • Actively participate, collaborate, and add value to weekly training and operational meetings.
  • Implement new practices quickly.
  • Identify tool and process efficiency gains with an analytical perspective.

Advertising Operations Specialist Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience within the digital advertising ecosystem and a thorough understanding of major success metrics.
  • Experience working with Ads Manager
  • 2+ years experience managing clients
  • Experience with Salesforce, including SFMC Email Studio to make HTML changes as it is critical for participant outreach.
  • Detail-oriented, computer literate and tech savvy with proficiency in working with multiple desktop applications and ability to quickly learn in-house software.
  • Experience in working on research studies (inbound feedback, A/B tests, surveys, interviews)
  • Ability to remain cool under pressure and effectively multi-task maintaining an exceptional level of quality.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work in a high-performance team environment.
