Location: Columbus, OH Duration: Full-Time Schedule: Hybrid (2 days onsite TUE/WED) Salary: up to $130,000 + Bonus/ DOE
Our corporate client in the Utilities space, is looking for a full-time Communications Manager! This role requires a hybrid work schedule out of their Columbus, Ohio headquarters on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This exciting opportunity does come with a benefits package and bonus opportunity.
The Communications Manager for this particular role will be focused on supporting the internal finance and supply chain teams.
Communications Manager Responsibilities:
Execute internal communications materials for audiences in the investor, employee, and partner space.
Create financial messaging, year end announcements, sustainability reports, 10K's, quarterly financial reports, whitepapers, executive presentations, and more.
Review and edit message given by internal stakeholders to ensure it meets AP style and brand guidelines.
Work cross-functionally to deliver internal and external messaging for business-specific updates.
Support the Finance and Supply Chain functions with the communication requests that are both big picture annual materials and ad hoc.
Work with the CFO to create executive materials, scripts, and presentations.
Deliver evergreen templates that can be used for presentations and internal announcements.
Partner with designers and external firms if necessary to manage graphics, videos, and other communications assets.
Update internal stakeholders and C-suite on where projects stand and raise any flags if they aren't to meet deadlines.
Maintain communication responses and update presentations, internal materials, and Q&A.
Work alongside Investor Relations to ensure consistent and accurate communication of the company's financial results and growth prospects to the investment community.
Take on other ad hoc communication needs that promote the Finance and Supply Chain organizations internally.
Translate industry jargon and technical concepts to internal audiences.
Communications Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
At least 7+ years' experience working in corporate communications.
A background in supporting finance communications for both internal and external audiences.
Portfolio or writing samples to share.
Proficient in AP style.
Proficient in Microsoft Office-- especially PowerPoint for presentations.
Any experience in the Utilities sector would be a big bonus!
