Copywriter (Legal & Compliance)
Location: Fully remote; must work EST hours Duration: 12 months Pay: Up to $87.95/hour DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Copywriter (Legal & Compliance) to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and will be fully remote, working EST hours.
We are looking for an experienced copywriter to handle drafting, editing, and maintaining clear, concise, and accurate policy and procedure documentation to ensure our company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. This person must be extremely detail-oriented and organized. They should have worked at least five years as a copywriter, and specifically must have compliance, legal, and/or regulatory experience.
Copywriter Responsibilities:
Draft and edit compliance policies and procedures, and other compliance-team documents as necessary
Ensure consistency and accuracy across compliance documents
Guarantee all documents meet regulatory standards
Develop writing manual for all compliance materials to ensure future consistency and use across the team
Maintain team glossary and other centralized writing tools
Draft new procedures and related documents to support cross-functional teams in their compliance efforts
Copywriter Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of experience as a copywriter (compliance, legal, and/or regulatory experience)
Very organized and detail oriented
Excellent writing skills and a great editor
