Location: Birmingham AL Pay Rate: $60.00/hour Duration: 3 Years (through March 2028)
Our Power and Utilities client has a HOT need for a Data Visualization Designer + Developer with 3+ years of experience as a Data Visualization Engineer or in a similar role for an ONSITE 3 year contract starting in April 2025!
Data Visualization Designer + Developer Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually compelling data visualizations.
Write efficient queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data from various sources.
Implement and manage Medallion architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold tables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data visualizations that meet business needs.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and analytics.
Data Visualization Designer + Developer Qualifications:
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and transforming/manipulating data sets.
Strong understanding of Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold tables).
Experience in integrating data from multiple sources and creating meaningful visualizations.
Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills:
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
