Planet Interactive's luxury retail client is seeking a Digital Media Analytics Specialist with 5+ years’ experience working in media and media planning with strong digital background in the retail luxury space to join the growing Media Team.
In this role, the Digital Media Analytics Specialist will work in close collaboration with our national advertising and strategic partnerships to provide thought leadership and strategic insights through the use of data analytics.
Digital Media Analytics Specialist Responsibilities:
Ensures proper management of all data and analytics related to advertising and content partnership digital media plans.
Through effective collaboration with the advertising and partnership teams, ensures flawless execution of special assignments, day-to-day responsibilities, and projects for the teams standards of excellence.
By working independently and autonomously, ensures the thorough evaluation and analysis of all campaign data.
Ensures strategic and quantitative goals are met through the evaluation of campaign reporting related to all media plans and partnership content programs
Ensures the timeliness and quality delivery of monthly, bi-annual and annual reporting related to all digital media and content partnership plans.
Through thought leadership that allows for on-going optimizations and recommendations for improvement across advertising activities, ensures that the team and Company thrive.
Through close collaboration and attentive oversight, ensures that vendor partners deliver established deliverables in support of analytical goals.
Through technical reviews of functionalities as well as through digital reporting analysis, ensures the integrity of the data extracted from the internal and external dashboards and that all digital media plans are meeting KPIs.
Through independent ownership of all media related data and analytics from tagging to launch to activity completion and analysis, ensures the on-going optimizations of relevant campaigns and continues negotiation when needed.
Ensures protection and maintenance of visual identity standards.
Ensures the success of cross-team projects.
Through the evaluation of existing and new technologies, ensures relevant understanding of use cases and applicability across all channels including but not limited to ad serving technologies.
By being research inclined in order to seek and evaluate new partners, opportunities and/or marketplace metrics, ensures that the Company continually expands its capabilities.
Digital Media Analytics Specialist Qualifications:
Strong written and oral communications skills
Strong computer skills including Excel and Powerpoint
Relevant computer skills – Microsoft outlook Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills
Analytics and database fluency Ability to manage multiple projects effectively Excellent attention to detail
Analytical and creative thinker who is comfortable working with ambiguity and is genuinely passionate about data and analytics.
Strong analytic thought process and ability to interpret findings.
Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively
Experience with Flashtalking AdServers preferred Experience with social platform advertising and promotion as well as metrics is preferred
Digital reporting knowledge and fluency across common KPIs (CTR, VCR etc)
Ability to solve problems and be creative
Fluency in media dashboards to ensure the integrity of internal data and dashboards
Minimum Requirements:
BA degree
5+ years’ experience working in media and media planning with strong digital background
