Planet Interactive's Higher-Education client is in need of a Digital Marketing Specialist for a month 3-month assignment starting in September 2024!

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work with the client's managers to identify marketing goals, audiences and messaging. Research and recommend available markets and channels. Assist with the development of digital marketing plans and related deliverables.


Digital Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Produce digital marketing copy and content as needed. 
  • Coordinate production of non-digital aspects of marketing campaigns.
  • Review deliverables from ad agencies contracted by the client, third party designers or other creatives for acceptability relative to the clients requirements, expectations and brand standards.
  •  Assist with the development of digital marketing plans and related deliverables.
  •  May serve as subject matter expert on digital advertising efforts, digital marketing product capabilities and digital media trends.
  • Will liaise with and represent the clients interests, needs and requirements with publishers, advertising agencies, suppliers and creative resources to ensure successful project execution.
  • Will conduct periodic audits of invoices, budgets, and media plans to optimize Harvard’s media investment.
Digital Marketing Specialist Qualifications:
  • Solid knowledge and on the job experience with paid and owned social media, podcast sponsorship, digital display, and email (eblasts and newsletters) advertising.
  • Solid knowledge and on the job experience with paid search, search engine optimization and web analytics.
  • Intermediate or better proficiency in typical Microsoft Office products.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Photoshop as well as web analytics.
  •  Additional skills with products like Salesforce CRM may be helpful.
  • Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
  •  Competency using and creating content for Social Media Platforms; Linkedin, Instagram and Youtube.
  • Strong organizational skills including ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workflow and multiple tasks simultaneously.
