Planet Interactive is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join one of our well-known technology healthcare clients. This contract to perm role is a remote based position. 

Pay Rate:  $60.00/hour.

Digital Marketing Specialist Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted business partner in the execution of single-channel projects and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Act as key representative for the Global Digital Strategy & Operations team on marketing, communications, and brand work groups. This will require interaction with marketing teams, brand partners, subject matter experts, and leaders across the organization. 
  • Provide guidance to our and business partners through digital and marketing services efforts.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing and key digital channels: website, SEO, digital content, paid media, social media, mass email communications, etc.
  • Possess a foundational knowledge of traditional marketing channels: print and premiums, call center operations, marketing data management, and project management.
  • Develop effective delivery plans and maintain reliable relationships through efficient and timely communication.
  • Commit to the teams’ success, oversee consistent messaging, and manage content across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, creative studio, external agencies to create and implement compelling, channel-specific creative and content.
  • Cultivate a data-driven mentality with emphasis on analysis, insight, and recommended action.
  • Keep up-to-date and implement industry best practices and technology to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Creatively approach the role of content in informing digital projects and marketing programs, while building strong relationships at all organization levels and effectively collaborating with colleagues.

Digital Marketing Specialist Qualifications: 
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Digital, Communications, Liberal Arts; Advanced Degree desirable
  • 5 years of digital marketing experience in a communications, media, or marketing role.
  • Strong leadership skills - effectively communicates with authority and confidence, while building strong relationships with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and agency team members.
  • Strategic and creative thinker - contributes to the development of high-level concepts, as well as extending concepts creatively into all digital and marketing channels.
  • Cross-channel/account management experience - in-depth understanding of cross-channel marketing, particularly in the digital space (i.e., SEO, SEM, social, content, digital media, email marketing, mobile). Understanding of how brand, content marketing, PR, email marketing, and social media interact and bolster the overarching brand initiatives and goals.
  • Proven ability to develop and advise on integrated digital/marketing strategies.
  • Well-versed in digital analytics and makes data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to partner and work seamlessly across business functions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive working teams.
