Planet Interactive is seeking a Director of Programmatic and Ad Operations to join one of our global marketing solutions clients. 

Salary: $130,000-$150,000 depending on experience 

 Director of Programmatic and Ad Operations Responsibilities: 
  • Lead global Programmatic, Ad, and System Operations Strategy, offering guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalations and ensure the team's success and excellence.
  • Serve as the functional point of contact and subject matter expert for ad operations, systems, and programmatic practices.
  • Develop and evangelize processes, expectations, best practices, and innovation within your functional domain.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and external vendors to prioritize demands and exceed revenue targets.
  • Support day-to-day teams on key accounts and high-value deals to ensure success and client satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a results-oriented team, creating growth paths for team members' career development.
  • Collaborate on Sales Enablement materials and partner with the training team to ensure alignment with messaging and value propositions.
  • Operate seamlessly within a complex organization across multiple Business Units.
 Director of Programmatic and Ad Operations Qualifications: 
  • 6-8+ years in digital advertising, with substantial experience in programmatic advertising, ad operations, and related areas.
  • 4+ years of strategy leadership and management experience, including a track record of successfully leading teams and overseeing programmatic and ad operations functions.
  • Versed in working with SMBs managing large number of smaller budgeted campaigns (i.e. 5000 campaigns at $1000 spend). 
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including the ability to align programmatic strategies with broader business goals and revenue targets.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams to support key accounts, optimize campaigns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Experience working in a global context, understanding the nuances of different markets and adapting programmatic strategies accordingly.
  • A deep understanding of ad tech concepts, including programmatic advertising, demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and ad exchanges.
  • Proficiency in using programmatic platforms and tools, such as Google Ad Manager (GAM), DSPs, and data management platforms (DMPs).
  • Ability to set up, manage, and optimize programmatic advertising campaigns across various channels and formats.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, assess campaign performance, and make data-driven optimizations.
  • Skilled in presenting complex data in a visually compelling manner using tools like Tableau or Google Data Studio.
  • Has develop effective programmatic advertising strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience behavior.
  • Able to manage and allocate budgets effectively for optimal campaign performance.
  • Has utilized data to identify and target specific audience segments, ensuring precise and effective ad targeting.
  • Has developed and implemented audience segmentation strategies to enhance campaign relevance.
  • Understands the importance of creative assets and collaborate with design teams to create compelling and effective ad creatives.
  • Has ensured ad quality, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to best practices.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients, understand their goals, and align programmatic strategies with their objectives.
  • Can collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and analytics, to achieve overall business goals.
  • Abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in programmatic advertising to remain competitive.
  • Proactively identifies challenges within campaigns and develop optimization strategies to enhance performance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions efficiently.
  • Has a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the evolving landscape of programmatic advertising.
  • Has awareness of privacy regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards to ensure compliance in programmatic advertising activities.
