Planet Interactive is seeking a Graphic Designer to join one of our well-known global pharmaceutical clients.

Pay Rate: $28-$31/hr+ depending on experience 

The Graphic Designer will join a culturally diverse group of 90+ strategic and creative explorers at an in-house advertising agency for a biopharmaceutical company with 29,000+ employees. You’ll be part of a close-knit team—senior designers, web developers, motion artists, writers, editors, and account managers—that partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support 30+ leading brands. Together, you’ll develop multichannel materials for affiliates in 80+ countries.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
  • Create digital materials: infographics, banner ads, user interfaces, emails, websites, interactive PDFs, and more.
  • Create and update content-heavy PowerPoint presentations on Mac.
  • Focus on user interface design for interactive modules presented on a tablet.
  • Interpret complex information and concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand graphs, charts, and infographics.
  • Familiar with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to edit, resize, and enhance images and artwork for use within PowerPoint.
  • Use Acrobat to apply annotations from editors and clients.
  • Work side by side with creative managers, writers, video editors, and account managers to complete projects.
  • Communicate with creative and project teams and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to take instruction and adapt to established formatting guidelines; ability to add creative value when needed.
  • Perform photo and vector searches on stock websites and internal databases.
  • Work overtime when needed to complete time-sensitive projects.
  • Conceptualize and execute materials that meet brand standards.
  • Develop creative solutions within the confines of FDA regulations.
Graphic Designer Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or related discipline; 2+ years of experience working in a creative agency environment.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint; knowledge in digital design applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, etc; fluency in Mac environment; maintain awareness of current design trends and new techniques and technology.
  • High degree of organizational skill and initiative to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment; ability to absorb and respond to constructive feedback from clients and creative management; ability to turn projects around quickly as well as good problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Tailored resume that highlights skills and experience relevant to this role.
  • Portfolio must include a variety of dynamic PowerPoint presentations that showcase slide transitions, animated elements, video, data visualization, and good typography. Present other brand/design work for digital materials: infographics, banner ads, emails, and interactive PDFs.
  • Bring working PowerPoint files and other creative digital work to interviews and be prepared to walk us through your creative thinking and problem-solving solutions.
Graphic Designer Nice to Have's:
  • Working knowledge of Knak, Adobe Experience Manager, Sharepoint, XD.
