Marketing Manager, Social

Pay Rate: Up to $65/hr depending on experience and location. 
Location: Hybrid role - must sit in NYC or San Fran

Planet Interactive is in search of a Marketing Manager, Social to join one of the top Technology companies in the world. This is a hybrid role, and you must sit in New York City or San Francisco. This role will be for 40 hours a week for at least 6 months.

Marketing Manager, Social Responsibilities:
  • Be a key team member within the Content Studio and craft influential content and see it through publishing.
  • Deliver tentpole moments and campaigns for the different social channels.
  • Support day-to-day planning and activation for global social accounts.
  • Manage projects end-to-end from editorial planning, project management, measurement/ reporting, and community management.
  • Inform and recommend content strategy, design, and creative direction.
  • Analyze performance data to formulate insights, recommendations, and how to move the plans forward.
  • Manage relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and prioritize project work based on channel strategy.
  • Be responsible for project managing aspects such as organizing meetings, communicating updates, tracking timelines, and prioritizing projects.
  • Support community management and bring in best practices.

Marketing Manager Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience managing or supporting corporate social media accounts (in house or at media, marketing, or advertising agency)
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Microsoft Excel for reporting and visualization of performance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide recommendations.
  • Experience analyzing social performance and providing in-depth recaps.
  • Experience working with stakeholders/cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with community management and how it informs content planning.
