Marketing Technology Specialist Location: Remote (Working PST hours) Duration: 12Months Pay Rate: Up to $58/hour (DOE)
Planet Interactive's well-known beauty client has a HOT need for a Marketing Technology Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in a Marketing Operations or Marketing Technology for a 12-month REMOTE assignment starting in December 2024!
Marketing Technology Specialist Responsibilities:
Maintain functionality of the Smartsheet Tool, ensuring the Tool’s
sheets and associated scripts (Python) function as intended for
Marketing Campaign users.
Resolves bugs and technical issues raised by Product Owner and
Business Users (Marketing, Merchants).
Requires basic Python skills, Smartsheet experience a plus.
Serve as a technical partner for key marketing systems,
including managing configurations, integrations, and user
access.
Participates in meetings and development sessions with
marketing teams to gather requirements and feedback.
Develop tool solutions based on business requirements.
Test and validate tool updates before deployment to ensure that
they align with business requirements.
Own roll out of optimizations (process development,
documentation, training) to non-technical stakeholders.
Provide tool support and proactively recommend improvements.
Proactively troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with
internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless tool
performance.
Manage user access and permissions across all marketing
tools. Develop and maintain user governance to ensure data
integrity and security. Conduct regular audits of user access
and permissions.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Users to refine
and optimize Smartsheet workflows and functionalities for various
marketing campaigns.
Understand evolving team needs, offers technical support,
identify system bottlenecks, and propose improvements based on
specific needs.
Effectively communicate complex technical information to
non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and
understanding.
Marketing Technology Specialist Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience with key marketing systems such as
Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Monday.com.
Experience in managing configurations, integrations, and
user access for marketing tools.
Demonstrated history of troubleshooting technical issues and working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve them.
Experience using Python
Ideal to have some experience with pandas, familiarity with
Apache Spark and its components (Spark SQL, Streaming,
MLlib) using PySpark, or ability to quickly learn.
Knowledge of working with external APIs
Experience in testing and debugging Python scripts in a
business setting to automate workflows and manage data
efficiently.
Familiarity working with Business Requirements,
documenting technical needs, and translating into working
solutions.
Ability to translate technical concepts and functionality to non-technical stakeholders
Building Smarthseets solutions for project and campaign management workflows (functions, automations, integrations, etc), Smartsheets API familiarlity a plus.
Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining system integrations.
Ability to monitor data flows and ensure data integrity and reliability.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
