Merchandise Planner Location: Boston, MA Schedule: 40 Hours, 4 days onsite and 1 day at home Duration: ~ 2 Months Pay: Up to $40/hour DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Merchandise Planner with a strong retail backgroundto join our well known retail brand on a 2-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will follow a hybrid work schedule, being onsite 4 days a week with 1 day at home.
Merchandise Planner Responsibilities:
Build and maintain seasonal end-to-end merchandising plans.
Lead and drive the process excellence, meeting management, and cross-functional communications for assigned category (VIBE, IQ, ROADMAPS.)
Coordinate seasonal sample sets and for in-store set-ups.
Act as the main point of contact for all merchandise related topics.
Support the Apparel operations process and toolkits.
Drive the development of merchandising tools to enable the merchant team to create seasonal product assortments that speak to the consumer and follow insights.
Bring seasonal trends to forefront and help provide throughout the planning process.
Provide updates to stakeholders and team members.
Create and maintain the master line list that also includes marketplace segmentation, pricing, assortment tiering, style buy readiness and sku management.
Merchandise Planner Qualifications:
3+ years' experience within merchandising planning/ season planning and retail.
Bachelor's degree.
Experience working and strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Zoom.
Attention to detail and able to manage multiple workflows at one time.
