Press Measurement Manager
Location: Fully remote (West Coast based/Working Pacific Time only) Duration: 2/10/2025 - 12/31/2025 Pay: up to $44/hr, DOE
Planet Interactive's well-known hospitality client is looking for a Press Measurement Manager. The role will be 40 hours a week and is fully remote.
The Company's Communications team is charged with making the Brand the most positively talked about company in the world. The Team is dedicated to keeping the Brand top-of-mind for consumers, maintaining a positive brand reputation, and cultivating a meaningful share of voice. Some tactics include: building strong long-term relationships with media, influencers and celebrities that lead to favorable awareness for the Company, product and community; driving a wall of positive press coverage and social amplification that minimizes negative coverage; and working to mitigate the negative, making it more neutral and fact-based.
The Press Measurement Manager will work closely with the Measurement and Insights lead to help measure and track the impact of the Communication team’s work, and to help enhance existing evaluation methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Support the operations of measuring and tracking the Communications team’s work with external measurement vendor, Onclusive; using boolean searches
Enhance the capabilities of how we measure Communications work to show how results translate to business impact
Collaborate on producing campaign impact reports, monthly snapshots, quarterly deep dive reports and OKR reviews.
Collaborate with and assist the Communications team to ensure how we measure the team’s work is consistent and accurate across campaigns and geographies.
Partner with the Communications team and support custom ad-hoc analyses for narrative, executive, and crisis topics tracking, etc.
Partner with the Communications team and support with modeling and analysis for narrative or theme-led content (i.e. economic impact, tourism dispersal, etc.)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6-7 years experience in media monitoring or press measurement
Proficiency in writing complex boolean searches
Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset, able to draw conclusions from complex datasets and produce easy, digestible insights for non-expert audiences
Proficiency and experience in using platforms like Brandwatch, Onclusive, Cision or Newswhip for media monitoring and impact measurement
Experience designing systems that help team coordinate and save time is a plus
Strong presentation-building, storytelling, and data visualization skills
SQL/Python abilities or a proven ability to combine data from multiple sources in a reliable and consistent way is a big plus
