Product Marketing Manager
Location: Remote Duration: through 2025 Pay: $86.00 - $92.00/hr, DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a 9-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule.
The Product Marketing Manager will help build advertiser tools for performance advertisers. The ideal candidate has experience in digital advertising and is excited and passionate about the opportunity to improve performance and experiences of advertisers.
This person will represent advertising products internally and externally, and provide the Product Management and Engineering teams with a clear perspective on the market needs and value proposition for ads Performance solutions. They’ll be the glue that brings teams together and own products from end-to-end, turning bold ideas into scalable, global solutions. The target audience often comes find ideas for things to do and to buy, which presents an opportunity to build a new kind of advertising platform -- one where ads feel uniquely personalized and relevant.
This is a highly cross-functional role that requires close partnership across Product, Engineering, Solutions, Measurement, Operations and Design as well as Sales, Marketing, Communications, PR and Legal
Responsibilities:
Influence product strategy through market analysis, research and close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design teams
Assess the capabilities and value proposition of our products through strategic, qualitative, and quantitative analysis
Serve as an advocate and represent the voice of customers; ensure broad awareness of and empathy for customer pain points internally
Drive cross-functional alignment throughout the go-to-market process, tracking success metrics accordingly
Define the messaging, positioning, and launch plan for new performance advertising products
Use data and insights to drive adoption of strategic priorities and influence our overall monetization strategy and growth initiatives
Educate and inspire internal and external teams on solutions for advertisers
Develop market understanding to build business requirements for new products
Qualifications:
5+ years of total experience in advertising with 2+ in product marketing at a fast growing tech company
Experience in performance advertising with a deep understanding of the advertising landscape; subject matter expertise in areas of advertising tools, delivery, bidding, targeting, attribution and reporting.
Sharp eye for detail and proven project management and operational skills
Keen ability to translate complexity into simple, clear communication and approach
