Hourly Rate: up to $57/hour  
Duration: 4 Months 

Planet Interactive's Global Beauty Client has a need for a Marketing Program Manager with at least 4 years of project or account management experience; agency experience preferred for a 5-month contract starting in May 2024! 

In this role, the Marketing Program Manager, will manage end-to-end execution of marketing programs, from strategic planning phases through creative execution and implementation. 

Your role: As Program Manager (Contractor), you will be responsible for managing end-to-end execution of marketing programs, from strategic planning phases through creative execution and implementation. Programs may include deliverables across all marketing channels (i.e., events, in-store, print, digital, video, and social media). You will manage program schedules and deliverables and proactively communicate expectations and milestones to all team members. You will report to the Senior Program Manager, Marketing & Creative Operations.
Marketing Program Manager Responsibilities:
  • Drive Results. Manages end-to-end omni-channel marketing programs, across online and offline channels. Ensures timely execution of all project assets to meet launch dates. Manages day-to-day tasks of program planning and execution:
    • Build job folders with project info; updates as jobs evolve and maintains final program archive of job info
    • Creates and publishes comprehensive schedules and sets interim milestones
    • Tracks schedules and proactively communicates upcoming milestones to key stakeholders through weekly status meetings and/or hot sheets
    • Communicates due dates to Marketing and Creative partners; ensures required information is available and deliverables are complete
    • Sets up and populates agendas for cross-functional meetings
    • Captures and distributes meeting notes, including action items and next steps
    • Routes creative to Marketing partners and ensures feedback is clear, actionable and received on time
    • Facilitates passing off all assets to Production and Delivery team
    • Ensures completion of all assets on the asset list and tracks final hand-offs and live dates
  • ?Collaborates.  Fosters partnerships with Marketing, Channel/Vehicle Partners, Creative, Production, Merchandising, Agencies, and Delivery Management:
    • Clearly and proactively communicates requirements, deliverables, timelines and budget status to key stakeholders throughout program lifecycle
    • Closely partners upstream during strategic development with Marketing counterparts to ensure cross-functional alignment milestones and timelines for brief development are met in time for project kickoffs
    • Manages laterally with Creative on timely execution of core assets
    • Partners with production and translation agencies on timely execution of derivative assets and translations
    • Identifies photo shoot needs across channels; partners with Creative, Content Production and Post Production for photoshoot execution and ensures photography and video assets are delivered tracking to project schedule
    • Partners with Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure product delivery for photoshoots are tracking to photoshoot dates
  • Agile & Manages Ambiguity. Identifies program risks early on and provides mitigation strategies. Monitors and advocates process; identifies gaps/improvements to work more efficiently.

Marketing Program Manager Qualifications:
  • 4 years experience in account, project, or program management in marketing
  • Creative project management experience required; agency experience preferred
  • Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Smartsheets, Box, Monday.com)
  • Effective relationship-building skills; ability to cultivate strong partnerships across functions to bring people together toward common goals and consensus
  • Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • Strong time management skills; ability to troubleshoot issues, juggle multiple programs, and prioritize
