Planet Interactive's luxury retail client is seeking a Senior Architectural Design Project Manager with 7+ Years of experience in project management – preferrable luxury retail, architecture or interior design for a direct-hire position starting in April 2025!
The Ideal candidates will be highly organized and detail oriented while supporting the success of our in-house design team. In this role, Senior Architectural Design Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end execution of store design, renovations, and special projects.
Through effective project management ensures that ORJ store design projects are completed by established timelines while aligning with brand concept and deliver an elevated client experience and upholding our brand’s reputation of excellence.
Developing and managing detailed project timelines, budgets and corresponding deliverables and overseeing all phases of projects from bidding through completion, ensures that all completed projects align with brand guidelines and standards through key site inspections and final punch list close out.
While acting as a key liaison between multiple internal and external stakeholders, including external partners such as millworkers, consultants, contractors and suppliers, ensures seamless project execution while maintaining clear communication lines between relevant constituents.
Tracking project costs; working with procurement teams to source materials; focusing on quality and cost efficiency; and managing quarterly reporting ensures the integrity and successful oversite of budgets and resource management in accordance with capital expenditure guidelines established by finance.
Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve project efficiency and maintaining clear documentation and project records, ensures the optimization, efficiency and compliance of assigned projects.
Proactively identifying risks; developing contingency plans; troubleshooting issues on-site; and collaborating with colleagues, ensures that problems are addressed and risks are mitigated.
Senior Architectural Design Project Manager Qualifications: Education: College Degree
Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced working environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
Understanding of retail store construction, millwork, and fixture production
Understanding of cross-functional team project management best practices and methodologies
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Critical thinking and problem solving
Understanding of sustainability principles
Proficiency in project management tolls (Microsoft projects, AirTable, Procore) and design software (AutoCAD, Revit)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills
Strong financial acumen and budgeting
Fluency is French not required, but a plus
