Location: Remote (PST time zone preferred) 
Pay Rate: up to $108/hour (DOE) 
Duration: 8 Months

Planet Interactive's well-known hospitality client is looking for a Senior Communications Manager who will be responsible for developing and producing compelling content that informs and educates our client's customers. 

In this role, the team informs and educates hosts about product launches, important policy changes, and other relevant hosting information—all in alignment with the brand's priorities. The Senior Communications Manger will lead content creation and content management efforts that help hosts get started and continue to find success.

You'll collaborate with Host Communications strategists and cross-functional partners—including marketing, UX writing, product, and PR teams—to deliver relevant, best-in-class content to hosts. Must have an audience-first approach and will become a trusted expert and advocate for hosts. 

Communications Manager Responsibilities: 
  • Define and create content in all forms, including articles, emails, and social posts
  • Ensure all content is clear, accurate, consistent, and aligned with internal goals, initiatives, and brand
  • Communicate efficiently and partner with strategists and cross-functional teams to define content objectives and editorial approach
  • Collaborate with Marcom and UX Writing teams to ensure a consistent and singular brand voice
  • Refine and uphold editorial standards
  • Conduct interviews with hosts, product teams, and other stakeholders
  • Balance a variety of short-term and long-term projects and priorities, while meeting strict deadlines

Communications Manager Qualifications: 
  • 10+ years in editorial production as a writer, editor, communications manager, or content strategist, preferably on in-house teams at global brands
  • Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related disciplines; OR equivalent work experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and fact-checking process
  • Experience managing end-to-end content production, including coordinating with other teams
  • Skilled at influencing and collaborating with remote colleagues to produce desired results
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, from brief to execution
  • Demonstrated success working in an agile content development environment
  • Highly collaborative and eager to contribute to an enriching and respectful environment
  • Creative thinker and self-starter with a strong bias for action
  • Excels at translating research, data, and strategy into successful creative solutions
