Planet Interactive is looking for an Senior Merchandising Manager to join our well-known retail brand on a 5-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid/4 days onsite in Boston, MA.
Senior Merchandising Manager Responsibilities:
Act as an expert in building Consumer Right Assortments for assigned category & location
Brief the product engine on the needs of the consumer for both the category/geography and upcoming trends
Work across the product engines to ensure that product is being created with the retail end in mind
Edit the product line for assigned location and category using both directed assortment and selecting the line outside of the global core product with a goal of meeting revenue targets
Build directed assortments that support category vision, working with geographies with retail end in mind
Senior Merchandising Manager Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
10+ YOE with a retail or merchandising background at a buyer or director level
Experience with assortment and product line plan software
Experience working with highly cross functional teams
Experience with global merchandising
An apparel and footwear background
